Agreement
These Terms of Service govern your use of Crush, a college connection app operated by Unyime George Obote II. By creating an account, accessing the app, verifying your school, participating in a Daily Drop, voting in polls, or using chat, you agree to these terms.
Eligibility and Accounts
- You must be at least 18 years old and currently enrolled at an accredited college or university.
- You must sign in with a supported provider, verify a valid .edu email address, and provide accurate profile information.
- You may maintain only one Crush account and you are responsible for activity on your account and device.
- Crush may limit access if your account is incomplete, unverified, paused, banned, deleted, inactive, or otherwise ineligible.
Acceptable Use
You agree not to misrepresent your identity, age, school, photos, or intent; harass or threaten other users; upload illegal, explicit, abusive, discriminatory, or non-consensual content; spam chats or verification flows; scrape, reverse engineer, or bypass app protections; or use Crush for advertising, solicitation, or commercial activity.
Crush has no tolerance for harassment, explicit content, threats, impersonation, or abusive users. Accounts may be limited, suspended, or banned when safety rules are violated.
User Content
You keep ownership of photos, prompts, messages, poll answers, and other content you submit. You grant Crush a limited license to host, process, moderate, display, and transmit that content only as needed to operate the service. You are responsible for having the rights to anything you upload or send.
Daily Drops and Matching
Crush runs one school-local Daily Drop at 8:30 PM. Matching depends on eligibility, profile completion, school, compatibility, safety filters, activity, quality signals, and available candidates. Crush does not guarantee a match, chat, relationship, friendship, or outcome. The app may show no-match states when no valid candidate is available.
Meet, Pass, Chat, and Polls
Daily outcomes may let you Meet or Pass. Chat unlocks only through the app's matching rules and may be closed by unmatch, report, deletion, or safety enforcement. Polls are single-choice school-local questions; answers can lightly shape matching, but safety, compatibility, and profile quality come first.
Safety and Enforcement
Crush may review content, moderate photos and text, rate-limit actions, remove content, close chats, restrict accounts, or terminate accounts to protect users and the service. Reports may be reviewed by authorized personnel and may lead to account action.
Notifications
If you enable notifications, Crush may send Daily Drop, chat unlock, and message notifications. You can manage these in the app and through iOS Settings.
Account Deletion
You may delete your account from the app where available or contact hello@crushso.com for help. Some safety, audit, and abuse-prevention records may be retained where needed to protect users, enforce these terms, or comply with law.
Disclaimers
Crush is provided as is and as available. We do not guarantee uninterrupted service, perfect matching, user conduct, or any personal outcome. Use good judgment when interacting with other people online or in person.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent allowed by law, Crush and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to USD $100 or the amount you paid to use Crush in the prior 12 months, whichever is greater.
