Overview
Crush may use AI-assisted systems and automated signals to help operate the app. These systems support matching quality, photo and text review, safety checks, and reliability. They do not guarantee a match, chat, relationship, friendship, or outcome.
Matching Signals
AI-assisted or automated signals may help rank compatible candidates using profile details, prompts, polls, activity, non-sensitive photo context, safety filters, and app quality signals. Photo context is limited to broad scene, activity, and composition labels. Face-review results and facial features are not used for matching.
- Missing AI signals do not block a Daily Drop.
- Eligibility, school, safety boundaries, compatibility, age and class cohort rules, blocks, reports, cooldowns, and active chat exclusions come first.
- Poll answers can lightly shape matching, but they do not override safety, compatibility, or profile quality.
Photo and Text Review
Selected profile photos are reviewed for potentially unsafe content. A primary photo is also checked only to confirm that exactly one person is visible with a clear and unobstructed face. Crush does not identify users, compare faces, create face embeddings or biometric templates, or use this result for matching. User-visible text may be reviewed to detect policy violations, spam, or abuse. See Photo Review and Face Data for the complete use, sharing, retention, storage, and deletion terms.
Protected Traits
Crush does not intentionally infer or score protected traits such as race, ethnicity, disability, religion, or body type for matching. If we identify a system behaving inconsistently with this policy, we may adjust, restrict, or remove that signal.
Human Review and Support
Reports, enforcement decisions, and support requests may be reviewed by authorized personnel. Users can contact hello@crushso.com about safety, account, or AI-related concerns.
Changes
We may update this disclosure as AI-assisted features or matching systems change. The updated date will reflect the latest version.
